36th Guam Legislature
The 36th Guam Legislature was the meeting of the Guam Legislature that was convened in Hagatna, Guam on January 4, 2021 and ended on January 1, 2023, during the third and fourth years of Lou Leon Guerrero's Governorship. Lourdes Aflague "Lou" Leon Guerrero (born November 8, 1950) is an American politician who has served as the 9th governor of Guam since 2019. She was president and CEO of the Bank of Guam from 2007 to 2017, having previously served as a senator of the Guam Legislature from 1995 to 1999 and again from 2001 to 2007. She is a member of the Democratic Party. The Legislature of Guam ( ch, Liheslaturan Guåhan) is the law-making body for the United States territory of Guam. The unicameral legislative branch consists of fifteen senators, each serving for a two-year term. All members of the legislature are elected at-large with the island under one whole district. After the enactment of the Guam Organic Act in 1950, the First Guam Legislature was elected composing of 21 elected members. Telo T
The Tamil Eelam Liberation Organization (TELO) is an Eelam Tamil organisation which campaigned for the establishment of an independent Tamil Eelam in the northeast of Sri Lanka during 1972-1987 which later accepted the December 19th proposals. The TELO was originally created as a militant group, and functioned as such until 1986, when most of its membership was killed in a conflict with the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). Its surviving members reorganised themselves as a political party, and it continues to function as such today. The TELO currently has two Members of Parliament. James Moylan
James Camacho "Jim" Moylan (born July 18, 1962) is an American politician serving as the delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives for Guam. He became a member of the Guam Legislature in 2019 and was elected to the U.S House of Representatives in the 2022 United States midterm elections. Education Moylan graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from the University of Guam. Career Prior to entering politics, Moylan served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army and parole officer for the Guam Department of Corrections.
