36th Cabinet Of Kuwait
The Cabinet of Kuwait is the chief executive (government), executive body of the Kuwait, State of Kuwait. The following cabinet is the 36th in the history of Kuwait. It was formed on 17 December 2019, after the previous Cabinet resigned on 14 November 2019. On 30 January 2020, Minister Ghadeer Al-Aseeri tendered her resignation. On 16 February 2020, a cabinet reshuffle took place and Kuwait's Amir received new cabinet members for oath ceremony. On 2 March 2020, Minister Mohammad Bushehri's resignation as Minister of Electricity & Water was accepted. On 26 October 2020, Minister Mohammad Al-Jabri's resignation as Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs was accepted. On 6 December 2020, the resignation of the Prime Minister and all the ministers were accepted by the Emir of Kuwait. The Cabinet of Kuwait is the chief executive body of the State of Kuwait. The 42nd cabinet in the history of Kuwait was appointed on 16 October 2022. On 5 October 2022, Amir of Kuwait His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah assigned His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah as Prime Minister to assign what was, the 41st Cabinet of Kuwait. But due to strong backlash from MPs and citizens about some of the recurring ministers returning, on 6 October 2022, the Prime Minister tendered a letter of governmental resignation to the Crown Prince a day after its formation, making it the shortest-lived government in Kuwaiti history. The Prime Minister has launched consultations with the members of The National Assembly aimed at advancing consensus on forming the new government. Mariam Eqeal Al-Saied Hashem Al-Aqeel ( ar, مريم عقيل السيد هاشم العقيل; born 1968) is a Kuwaiti accountant and politician who was the country's Minister of Finance from December 2019 to February 2020. Early life and education Al-Aqeel was born in 1968. She has a degree in accounting from Kuwait University. Career From 1990 until 1997, Al-Aqeel was an accountant at the Ministry of Higher Education. Muhammad Hosni El Sayed Mubarak, (; 4 May 1928 – 25 February 2020) was an Egyptian politician and military officer who served as the fourth president of Egypt from 1981 to 2011. Ghadeer Aseeri (Arabic: غدير أسيري; born 17 November 1977) is a Kuwaiti politician who was the country's Minister of Social Affairs and Labor from December 2019 to January 2020. Early life and education Ghadeer Aseeri was born in 1977. Ghadeer Aseeri did PhD in School of Law-Social Policy from Swansea University, United Kingdom in the year 2016. Prior to this, she obtained a foundation in social policy degree from Harvard University in the year 2009 and in the year 2008 she completed her MA in Social work and Social Research from Bryn Mawr College PA USA. Muhammad ( ar, مُحَمَّد; 570 – 8 June 632 CE) was an Arab religious, social, and political leader and the founder of Islam.
