French Army
The French Army, officially known as the Land Army (french: Armée de Terre, ), is the land-based and largest component of the French Armed Forces. It is responsible to the Government of France, along with the other components of the Armed Forces. 17th Army Corps (France)
The 17th Army Corps was a French Army corps, which fought in the Franco-Prussian War and both World Wars. During World War I, 17th Army Corps formed part of the Fourth Army. The 9th Balloon company of the U.S. Army Observation Balloon Service in World War I, served with the corps in 1918.
