2PM (; romanized; ''Tupiem'') is a South Korean boy band formed by JYP Entertainment. The group is composed of six members: Jun. K (formerly known as Junsu), Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Junho and Chansung. Originally a seven-piece group, former member Jaebeom left the group in 2009 due to controversies that stemmed from his posts on MySpace. Through the documentary series ''Hot Blood Men'', Korean musician Park Jin-young formed an eleven-member band known as One Day. Eventually, the band was split into the hip hop group 2PM and a similar but independent group known as 2AM. 2PM debuted with the song "10 Out of 10" (, lit. "10 Points Out of 10 Points"), which showcased their acrobatic dance styles. They then achieved their first number 1 single with "Again & Again". Must (album)
''Must'' is the seventh Korean studio album by South Korean boy band 2PM. The album was released on June 28, 2021. It is the first release by 2PM since all the members finished their military service. Composition The album's lead track, "Make It", is a pop song with Jazz and Soul music, Soul elements and was written and composed by member Wooyoung. The album's ten tracks borrowed elements from Jazz and Pop music, Pop while maintaining 2PM's signature sweltering electronic sound. "Moon & Back" and "The Cafe", on the other hand, utilizes pulsating 808 drumming for a familiar R&B inflection. Other group members also participated in the production of the album. Conscription In South Korea
Conscription in South Korea has existed since 1957 and requires male citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 to perform compulsory military service. Women are not required to perform military service, but they may voluntarily join the military. Establishment The basis for military conscription in South Korea is the Constitution of the Republic of Korea, which was promulgated on 17 July 1948. The constitution states in Article 39, "All citizens shall have the duty of national defense under the conditions as prescribed by Act." ''Go Crazy!'' is the fourth Korean studio album (seventh overall) by South Korean boy band 2PM. The album was released in both physical and digital format on September 15, 2014 by JYP Entertainment. Background During the filming for the music of the group's upcoming comeback, a fire broke out on the set of the music video. Authorities stated later that the fire was relatively small and had been controlled by the time the fire team arrived; apparently it started when a spark from some fireworks which were being used in the music video landed on a sponge.
