21st Panzer Brigade (Bundeswehr)
The 21st Panzer Brigade "Lipperland" (german: Panzerbrigade 21 "Lipperland", abbreviated to: PzBrig 21) is a brigade in the German Army and part of the Bundeswehr. The brigade staff and most of its units are based at the Field Marshal Rommel Barracks in Augustdorf, North Rhine-Westphalia. Several companies are based in Glückauf Barracks in Unna-Königsborn. The roughly 4,200 strong brigade is one of the Army's reaction forces and, like the Panzerlehrbrigade 9 and Panzergrenadierbrigade 41, is subordinate to the 1st Panzer Division headquartered in Hanover. 21st Panzer Brigade was formed in 1957 as Combat Group (''Panzerkampfgruppe'') C3 in the 3rd Panzer Division and, from 1959 to 2006, was assigned to the 7th Panzer Division. Hanover

Armoured Personnel Carrier
An armoured personnel carrier (APC) is a broad type of armoured military vehicle designed to transport personnel and equipment in combat zones. Since World War I, APCs have become a very common piece of military equipment around the world. According to the definition in the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe, an APC is "an armoured combat vehicle which is designed and equipped to transport a combat infantry squad and which, as a rule, is armed with an integral or organic weapon of less than 20 millimetres calibre." Compared to infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), which are also used to carry infantry into battle, APCs have less armament and are not designed to provide direct fire support in battle. Boxer (armoured Fighting Vehicle)
The Boxer is a multirole armoured fighting vehicle designed by an international consortium to accomplish a number of operations through the use of installable mission modules. The governments participating in the Boxer programme have changed as the programme has developed. The Boxer vehicle is produced by the ARTEC GmbH (''armoured vehicle technology'') industrial group, and the programme is being managed by OCCAR (Organisation for Joint Armament Cooperation). ARTEC GmbH is based in Munich; its parent companies are Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH and Rheinmetall Military Vehicles GmbH on the German side, and Rheinmetall Defence Nederland B.V. for the Netherlands. Overall, Rheinmetall has a 64% stake in the joint venture. Rotenburg An Der Wümme
Rotenburg an der Wümme (also known as ''Rotenburg (Wümme)''; ''Rotenburg in Hannover'' until May 1969; Northern Low Saxon: ''Rodenborg'') is a town in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is the capital of the district of Rotenburg. Geography Rotenburg is situated on the Wümme river, which lies between the rivers Elbe and Weser at about the same latitude as Hamburg and Bremen, the latter lying 40 km to the west. It is often called "Rotenburg (Wümme)" in order to distinguish it from Rotenburg an der Fulda in Hesse and Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Bavaria. Schwarzenborn is the smallest town in Hesse, Germany. Geography Location Schwarzenborn lies in the Schwalm-Eder district some 13.5 km from Homberg in the Knüll. Ahlen (; Westphalian: ''Aulen'') is a town in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, 30 km southeast of Münster.
