2024 NWSL Draft
The 2024 NWSL Draft presented by Ally will be the twelfth annual meeting of National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) franchises to select amateur players above the age of 18 playing in the United States who exhausted, lost, or renounced any remaining collegiate eligibility, as well as select players that the NWSL had already signed in advance. Expansion sides Utah Royals and Bay FC currently hold the first and second overall picks respectively. Format * All 14 teams of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) take turns making their selections over four rounds, with 14 picks per round. Utah Royals FC
Utah Royals FC was an American women's professional soccer club based in the Salt Lake City suburb of Sandy, Utah. Emily Ann Sonnett (born November 25, 1993) is an American association football, soccer player who plays as a Defender (association football), defender for OL Reign of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) as well as the United States women's national soccer team. Early life and education Sonnett was born in Marietta, Georgia to Bill and Jane Sonnett. She has a twin sister, Emma, who played soccer for the Georgia Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs, University of Georgia. Portland Thorns FC
The Portland Thorns FC is an American professional women's soccer team based in Portland, Oregon. Established in 2012, the team began play in 2013 in the then-eight-team National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), which receives support from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). The Portland franchise is owned by Peregrine Sports LLC, which also owns the Portland Timbers. Sydney Rae Leroux (; born May 7, 1990) is a professional soccer player and Olympic gold medalist who currently plays as a forward for Angel City FC in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
