2024 Caribbean Series
The 2024 Caribbean Series was the 66th edition of the Caribbean Series club baseball tournament, played from February 1-9, 2024, at LoanDepot Park in Miami, Florida, United States. This was the first time since the 1991 Caribbean Series, 1991 series that the Caribbean Series was held outside of Latin America, as well as the first Caribbean Series that was held at a Major League Baseball ballpark. Curaçao Professional Baseball League
The Curaçao Professional Baseball League (CPB; pap, Kampionato Beisbòl Profeshonal Kòrsou), is a professional baseball circuit in Curaçao. It debuted in 2023 as the highest level of professional baseball in the country, supplanting the summer-time AA League. Like the AA League, CPB is organized by the Curaçao Baseball Federation (FEBEKO). The inaugural edition of the tournament took place between December 3 to December 10, 2023, at Tio Daou Ballpark in Willemstad. Yadier Benjamín Molina (; born July 13, 1982), nicknamed "Yadi", is a Puerto Rican former professional baseball catcher who played his entire career with the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball (MLB). Juan Gabriel Castro (born June 20, 1972), is a Mexican former professional baseball infielder, who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Minnesota Twins, Baltimore Orioles, and Philadelphia Phillies, during his 17-year big league career. Naranjeros De Hermosillo
The Naranjeros de Hermosillo ( en, Hermosillo Orange Growers) are a professional baseball team in the Mexican Pacific League based in Hermosillo, Sonora. The Naranjeros are one of the most successful teams in the league with 16 titles and they were the first Mexico team to win the Caribbean Series, doing so in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in 1976. 1952 Caribbean Series
The fourth edition of the Caribbean Series (''Serie del Caribe'') was played in 1952. It was held from February 20 through February 26, featuring the champion baseball teams of Cuba, Leones del Habana; Panama, Carta Vieja Yankees; Puerto Rico, Senadores de San Juan and Venezuela, Cervecería Caracas. The format consisted of 12 games, each team facing the other teams twice, and the games were played at Panama City. The Tiburones de La Guaira ( en, La Guaira Sharks) are a baseball team in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League. Based in the city of La Guaira, they play their home games in Estadio Fórum La Guaira and have won seven national championships since their founding in 1962. History In 1962 the Licoreros de Pampero team, which was founded in 1955, was sold for the symbolic price of one Bolívar by his owner Alejandro Hernández to José Antonio Casanova, who was considered the greatest Venezuelan manager at the time.
