2023–24 Montenegrin Cup
The 2023–24 Montenegrin Cup was the 18th edition of the knockout football tournament in Montenegro. It began on 30 August 2023. The winners qualified for the first qualifying round of the 2024–25 UEFA Conference League. Sutjeska were the defending champions. Budućnost won the cup on 30 May 2024 (their fifth Montenegrin Cup win), defeating Jezero 2–1 in the final. First round The ten clubs from the 2023–24 Montenegrin First League and six clubs from the 2023–24 Montenegrin Second League entered the first round. The matches were played on 30 August 2023. FK Rudar Pljevlja
FK Rudar Pljevlja, commonly known as Rudar Pljevlja or simply Rudar, is a football club based in Pljevlja, Montenegro. It currently plays in the Montenegrin First League, the country's highest tier. Rudar have played in the First League since its inception in 2006, and won two league titles in 2009–10 and 2014–15. The club have been the strongest in the Montenegrin Cup, with three triumphs, one runner-up position and two semi-final finishes in the tournament's six seasons. History Rudar (''Miner'') was founded in 1920 as ''Breznik'', renaming itself ''Sandžak'' three years later. The team was aided by members of the 48th Infantry Regiment, who stationed in the town. Gradski Stadion (Bijelo Polje)
} Gradski stadion is a football stadium in Bijelo Polje, Montenegro. It is currently used for football matches and is the home ground of FK Jedinstvo, FK Tekstilac and OFK Borac. The stadium holds 4,000 people. History FK Jedinstvo played home games at the location of Gradski stadion since 1945. Following promotion of FK Jedinstvo to First League of Serbia and Montenegro, the stadium was renovated in 2005, with 3,000 seats on the main stand and 1,000 seats on the other stand. Dejan Račić ( sr-cyr, Дејан Рачић; born 15 July 1998) is a Montenegrin football forward who plays for OFK Grbalj. He also holds the Serbian passport. Career Voždovac Born in Berane, Račić started playing football with local club with the same name. Later was with OFK Beograd, before he joined Voždovac. Shortly after he was called into Montenegro U19 national squad, he signed a three-year deal with the club in spring 2016. Berane
Berane ( cyrl, Беране) is one of the largest towns of northeastern Montenegro and a former administrative centre of the Ivangrad District. The town is located on the Lim river. From 1949 to 1992, it was named Ivangrad ( cyrl, Иванград) in honour to people's hero Ivan Milutinović. The town has a population of over 11,000, whereas its municipality area reaches nearly 30,000 people, making it one of the largest centres of Polimlje area. Berane City Stadium ( Montenegrin: Gradski stadion Berane/Градски стадион Беране) is a multi-purpose stadium in Berane, Montenegro. Also known as Stadion pod Bogavskim brdom, it is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FK Berane and FK Radnički. Also it serves as home ground of Athletic Club Lim. History Stadium was built in 1981 for purposes of hosting Inter-municipalities Youth Sports Games also known as the MOSI Games ( Montenegrinn: Međuopštinske omladinske sportske igre/Међународне омладинске спортске игре). Fudbalski klub Podgorica, formerly known as OFK Mladost 1970, is a football club from the southwestern part of Podgorica, Montenegro. It was founded in 1970, the club was reactivated during 2014. In the summer 2019, the club was renamed to FK Podgorica. FK Berane
Fudbalski klub Berane (Cyrillic: Фудбалски клуб Беране) is a Montenegrin football club based in Berane. Established at 1920, the club plays in the Second League of Montenegro. History FK Berane was founded in 1920, as one of the first football clubs in Northern Montenegro and Sandžak region. In the period before World War II, they were the most successful football team from the north. During the 1920s, as other neighbouring clubs mostly played friendlies, FK Berane participated in official competitions of Montenegro. FK Kom is a Montenegrin football club based in Zlatica, a suburb of Podgorica. Founded in 1958, they currently compete in the Montenegrin Second League. The team is known as a first youth club of famous Montenegrin player Predrag Mijatović. Omladinski fudbalski klub Grbalj (, ) is a Montenegro, Montenegrin association football, football club based in the small town of Radanovići, Kotor, Radanovići, municipality of Kotor.
