2023 USA Outdoor Track And Field Championships
The 2023 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships were held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon from July 6–9, 2023. They served as USA Track & Field's (USATF) national championships in track and field for the United States. The results of the event determined qualification for the 2023 World Athletics Championships, held in Budapest, and the 2023 Pan American Games, held in Santiago, Chile. Provided they achieved the World standard or are in the World Athletics ranking quota, the top two athletes in each event will gain a place on the Team USA World team. In the event that a leading athlete does not hold the standard, or an athlete withdraws, the next-highest-finishing athlete with the standard will be selected instead. Quincy Hall (born 31 July 1998) is an American track and field athlete who competes over 400 metres and 400m hurdles. Early life From Kansas City, Missouri, Quincy Hall participated in track, football and wrestling at Raytown South High School, is a son of Milton and Iecia Hall, has a brother, Milton, and a sister, Breanna, both of whom also ran track. The 400 metres, or 400-meter dash, is a sprint event in track and field competitions. On an outdoor 400 metre racetrack, the race begins on the curve and ends on the home straight, so a combination of techniques is needed to successfully run the race.
