2023 Tennessee Titans Season
The 2023 season was the Tennessee Titans' 54th season in the National Football League (NFL), their 64th overall, their 27th in the state of Tennessee and their sixth and final under head coach Mike Vrabel. The Titans attempted to improve upon their underachieving 7–10 record from last year. They also attempted to make it back to the playoffs after missing them for the first time since 2018. However, after a Week 15 loss to the Houston Texans in overtime, they were eliminated from playoff contention for the second year in a row. The following week they were locked to last in the AFC South after losing to the Seattle Seahawks 20–17 in Week 16, and they failed to improve on their 7–10 record from 2022. AFC South
The American Football Conference – Southern Division or AFC South is one of the four Division (sport), divisions of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). It was created before the 2002 NFL season, 2002 season when the league realigned divisions after expanding to 32 teams. Anthony Midget
Anthony Midget (born February 22, 1978) is an American football coach. He played college football at Virginia Tech. After a short-lived career playing professionally in the National Football League (NFL), Midget began coaching beginning at the high school level and then progressing from college to the NFL. Playing career Midget played high school football in Clewiston, Florida at Clewiston High School. From there, he proceeded to Virginia Tech, where he was a four-year letter winner and three-year starter. After his senior season, Midget was named a third-team All-American, first-team All-Big East, and a member of the Big East All-Academic Team. Tony Dews
Tony Oshey Dews (born June 6, 1973) is an American football coach who is the tight ends coach for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He has coached at nine different colleges and has coached every offensive and defensive position except quarterback. He played college football at Liberty. Patrick O'Hara (born September 27, 1968) is an American football coach and former quarterback who is the Pass game analyst for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as the head coach of the New Orleans VooDoo, Orlando Predators and Tri-Cities Fever. O'Hara also served as an assistant coach for the Houston Texans and Tampa Bay Storm. Luke Steckel
Luke E. Steckel (born April 28, 1985) is an American football coach and former player who is the tight ends coach for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Princeton and got his first coaching job with the Cleveland Browns in 2009. Early life and education Steckel was born on April 28, 1985, in Boston, Massachusetts. Steckel's family moved multiple times while he grew up, as his father Les, was a coach in the National Football League (NFL). He attended high school at Brentwood in Tennessee. Justin Lee Hamilton (born September 17, 1982) is a former American football coach and player. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the seventh round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played college football at Virginia Tech and was named defensive coordinator on December 8, 2019. Lori Locust (born 1964) is an American football coach who is a defensive quality control coach for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). Early years Locust was born in 1964 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Susquehanna Township High School in 1982, and attended Temple University for two years before leaving to tend to her ill father.
