2023 TCR World Tour
The 2023 Kumho TCR World Tour was the inaugural season of the TCR World Tour, a new international touring car racing competition for TCR cars. Effectively succeeding the WTCR series, it was also the ninth season of international TCR competition dating back to the 2015 TCR International Series. The season consisted of nine events selected from a number of TCR series worldwide, and will determine 15 of the drivers to qualify for the end-of-year TCR World Ranking Final, where the overall TCR world champion will be determined. The highest-ranked driver and team in the World Tour will be awarded the TCR World Tour Cup. It started on 28 April at Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, Portugal and is planned to end on 19 November at Guia Circuit, Macau. World Touring Car Cup
The FIA World Touring Car Cup (abbreviated to WTCR, referring to the use of TCR regulations) was an international touring car championship promoted by Eurosport Events and sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). It has had different incarnation of a World Touring Car Cup held between 1993 and 1995. Following the 2017 season, an agreement was reached for the World Touring Car Championship to become WTCR and use the TCR technical regulations. With titles for drivers and teams only, the WTCR series changed to 'World Cup' rather than 'World Championship' status in 2018. Circuit De Spa-Francorchamps
The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (), frequently referred to as ''Spa'', is a motor-racing circuit located in Stavelot, Belgium. It is the current venue of the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix, hosting its first Grand Prix in 1925, and has held a Grand Prix every year since 1985 (except 2003 and 2006). Spa also hosts several other international events including the 24 Hours of Spa, the World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. 2023 TCR South America Touring Car Championship
The 2023 TCR South America Touring Car Championship was the third season of TCR South America Touring Car Championship. Calendar The championship is to begin in March 2023, with a maximum of 26 entries, ten rounds consisting of eighteen 35-minute races and two endurance races would be run in Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. It will also feature two rounds of the TCR World Tour. The Hungaroring is a motorsport racetrack in Mogyoród, Pest County, Hungary where the Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix is held. In 1986, it became the location of the first Formula One Grand Prix behind the Iron Curtain. Bernie Ecclestone wanted a race in the USSR, but a Hungarian friend recommended Budapest. They wanted a street circuit similar to the Circuit de Monaco to be built in the Népliget – Budapest's largest park – but the government decided to build a new circuit just outside the city near a major highway. The 2023 TCR Italy Touring Car Championship is the eighth season of the ITCC to run under TCR regulations and the 37th season since the national touring car series was revived in 1987 as the Campionato Italiano Turismo.
