The 2023 Stanford Cardinal football team represented Stanford University in the Pac-12 Conference during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Led by new head coach Troy Taylor, the Cardinal played its home games on campus at Stanford Stadium in Stanford, California. This was Stanford's final season in the Pac-12 Conference before they move to the Atlantic Coast Conference in 2024. Taylor was hired in December 2022 and was previously the head coach at Sacramento State.
