Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships
The Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships are the European championships for the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. They were first held in 1978. The European Championships and the European Junior Championships were united in 1993. Prior to 2006, they were called the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships. The competition is organised by the European Union of Gymnastics. Sofia Raffaeli (born 19 January 2004) is an Italian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2022 World All-around, hoop, ball, ribbon and team champion, as well as the 2022 European hoop and clubs champion. She is also the 2019 Junior World silver medalist with rope and clubs. She won gold in the group All-Around at the 2022 European Championship and silver in the same category at the 2022 World Championships. Ofir Shaham (Hebrew: אופיר שחם, born 23 November 2004) is an Israeli rhythmic gymnast. She won gold in the group All-Around at the 2022 European Championship and silver in the same category at the 2022 World Championships. Adar Friedmann (Hebrew: אדר פרידמן; born 18 July 2006) is an Israeli rhythmic gymnast. She won gold in the group All-Around at the 2022 European Championship and silver in the same category at the 2022 World Championships. Eliza Banchuk
Eliza Banchuk (Hebrew: אלייזה בנצ'וק; born 28 June 2007) is an Israeli rhythmic gymnast. She is part of the group that won the gold medal with 5 hoops at the 2023 Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships, as well as the gold medal in Group All-Around at the 2023 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships.
