The 2022–23 Polish Basketball League (PLK) season, the Energa Basket Liga for sponsorship reasons, is the 89th season of the Polish Basketball League, the highest professional basketball league in Poland. Śląsk Wrocław are the defending champions. Teams 16 teams will participate this season. HydroTruck Radom was relegated and Sokół Łańcut will be promoted from Liga I. Twarde Pierniki Toruń is a Polish professional basketball team based in Toruń. The team currently plays in the Polish Basketball League (PLK). The club has won Polish Basketball Cup, Polish Cup and Polish Basketball Supercup, Polish Supercup titles in 2018. History Twarde Pierniki was founded in 2004. Toruń was offered a spot in the 2014–15 PLK season as a wild card because of the expansion from 12 to 16 teams. Spójnia Stargard, also known as shortly Spójnia, is a professional Polish basketball team based in Stargard, Poland, currently playing in the Polish Basketball League (PLK), the highest tier in Polish basketball.
