The 2022–23 Liga MX Femenil season is the sixth season of the premier women's football league in Mexico. The season began on 8 July 2022 and will finish in May 2023. The team plays in the Liga MX Femenil, the top-flight of women's football in Mexico. The team was founded for the 2018–19 season of the Liga MX Femenil. FC Juárez Femenil is a Mexican women's football club based in Ciudad Juárez. The club has been the women's section of FC Juárez since 2019. The team was founded for 2019–20 Liga MX Femenil season, on June 11, 2019 FC Juárez bought Lobos BUAP. After making the purchase, FC Juarez had to assume all the BUAP's responsibilities, including the obligation to have a women's team. Club América Femenil, commonly known as América Femenil or just América, is a Mexican professional women's football club based in Mexico City that competes in the Liga MX Femenil. The club has been the women's section of Club América since 2017. The team plays its home games at the Estadio Azteca, and at an alternative field named Cancha Centenario that is located at their training grounds. Omnilife Stadium
The Estadio Akron, formerly known as the Estadio Omnilife and Estadio Chivas (''Estadio Chivas'', ), is a multipurpose stadium that is used mostly for football matches. It is the home of Liga MX side C.D. Guadalajara. It is part of the JVC complex, and has a capacity of 48,071. Construction started in February 2004, but due to financial problems and other issues, the stadium's completion was delayed for a number of years. The stadium hosted its first major international event with the first leg of the 2010 Finals of the Copa Libertadores, and hosted the 2011 Pan American Games opening and closing ceremonies. Liga MX Femenil
The Liga MX Femenil, officially known as the Liga BBVA MX Femenil for sponsorship reasons, is the highest division of women's football in Mexico. Supervised by the Mexican Football Federation, this professional league has 18 teams, each coinciding with a Liga MX team. Following the same schedule as the men's league, each season has two halves: an Apertura tournament, which takes place from July to December, and a Clausura tournament, which takes place from January to May. The league's first official domestic cup competition took place in May 2017 via the Copa MX Femenil, a now discontinued tournament that was created with the objective of preparing the teams for the inaugural season of the league which began in July 2017. Estadio Alfonso Lastras is a multi-use unfinished stadium in San Luis Potosí City, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. It is currently used mostly for association football, football matches, and also music concerts. It used to be the home stadium of San Luis F.C. but after it dissolved, Atlético San Luis is the current team that play in Alfonso Lastras. The stadium holds 25,709 people and was built in 2002. Club León, also known as León, is a Mexican professional football club based in León, Guanajuato, that competes in the Liga MX, the top flight of Mexican football. León has won the Primera División de México/Liga MX title eight times in 1948, 1949, 1952, 1956, 1992, the Apertura in 2013, the Clausura in 2014, and the Apertura in 2020.
