2022 World Grand Prix (darts)
The 2022 BoyleSports World Grand Prix was a darts tournament and the 25th staging of the World Grand Prix. It was held from 3–9 October 2022 at the Morningside Arena in Leicester, England. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament was held away from the Citywest Hotel in Dublin for the third consecutive year. was the defending champion after defeating 5–1 in the 2021 final, but he lost 3–2 in the second round to . won his sixth World Grand Prix title, defeating 5–3 in the final. 2022 World Matchplay
The 2022 Betfred World Matchplay will be the 29th annual staging of the World Matchplay, organised by the Professional Darts Corporation. The tournament will take place at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool, from 16 to 24 July 2022. Peter Wright is the defending champion after defeating Dimitri Van den Bergh 18–9 in the 2021 final. This tournament will also have a separate women's event taking place on the day of the final of the main tournament. Prize money The prize fund will increase by £100,000 and rise to £800,000. It is unclear how it is going to be broken down as of yet. 2022 PDC Pro Tour
The 2022 PDC Pro Tour is the next series of non-televised darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Players Championships and European Tour events are the events that make up the Pro Tour. There will be thirty Players Championship events and thirteen PDC European Tour events, and after the split format last year, the Challenge and Development Tours will return as one big tour, rather than a UK/European split tour. PDC Order Of Merit
The PDC Order of Merit is a world ranking system used by one of the darts organisations, the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Following the 2007 PDC World Darts Championship it superseded a world ranking system based on points being awarded for performances in ranking tournaments.
