The Štark Arena ( sr-cyrl, Штарк арена), also known as Belgrade Arena ( sr-cyrl, Београдска арена), is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Belgrade, Serbia. It is designed as a universal hall for sports, cultural events and other programs. Hans-Christian Hausenberg (born 18 September 1998) is an Estonian decathlete and long jumper. On 1 March 2015, he set a world U18 record in heptathlon (indoor). Since 2017, he detains the European under-20 record in heptathlon. He won the long jump qualification with 7.98 m (w) at 2019 European Athletics U23 Championships, but finished fourth in final. Karel Tilga (born 5 February 1998) is an Estonian athlete who competes in the decathlon. From Tartu, and a student at the University of Georgia. In 2021 he won for Georgia Bulldogs (men) their fifth ever NCAA individual title (second in the heptathlon) by scoring a school record 6,264 to win the heptathlon at the NCAA Championships with the No. 2 all-time collegiate performance. He scored a near 400 point-improvement on his decathlon lifetime best at the Specs Town Invitational in Athens, Georgia in April 2021 besting Garrett Scantling by just 8 points. Steve Bastien (born March 4, 1994) is an American decathlete. Bastien is a former student at the University of Michigan where he was a five time All American. He also attended high school at Saline High School in Saline, Michigan. Lindon Victor (born 28 February 1993) is a Grenadian athlete who competes in the decathlon. He is the 2023 World bronze medalist and a two-time Commonwealth Games champion (2018–2022). Career In 2016, he scored 8446 points with nine personal bests at the Southeastern Conference Championship decathlon, breaking both the SEC record and the Grenadian National Record , the latter of which was set by his brother, Kurt Felix, at the 2015 IAAF World Championships. Victor was named 2016 SEC Field Athlete of the Year. Victor qualified for and represented Grenada at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in the decathlon. Garrett Scantling
Garrett Scantling (born May 19, 1993) is an American decathlete. He finished fourth at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo in the decathlon, after winning the US Olympic trials in Eugene, Oregon. Early life Scantling was educated at Jacksonville Episcopal High School, in Jacksonville, Florida. Career Football Scantling caught 13 touchdowns for over 1,200 yards as a senior wide receiver in High School. He went on to study financial planning and services at the University of Georgia and subsequently worked as a financial adviser. After winning the 2015 NCAA indoor heptathlon but finishing fourth in the decathlon at the US Olympic trials in 2016 and therefore missing out on selection for the Summer Games in Rio, Scantling signed a free agent contract with the Atlanta Falcons as a wide receiver but never debuted in the NFL. Damian Warner
Damian David George Warner (born November 4, 1989) is a Canadian track and field athlete specializing in decathlon. He is the 2020 Olympic champion and a three-time World medallist (silver in 2015, bronze in 2013 and 2019). Warner also won the bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics and was the 2014 Commonwealth champion and the two-time and reigning Pan American champion from the 2015 and 2019 Games. Heptathlon
A heptathlon is a track and field combined events contest made up of seven events. The name derives from the Greek επτά (hepta, meaning "seven") and ἄθλος (áthlos, or ἄθλον, áthlon, meaning "competition"). A competitor in a heptathlon is referred to as a heptathlete.
