The 2022 World Athletics Continental Tour, also known as the 2022 Continental Tour, is the third season of the annual series of outdoor track and field meetings, organised by World Athletics. The Tour forms the second tier of international one-day meetings after the Diamond League. The Continental Tour is divided into three levels – Gold, Silver and Bronze – whose status is determined by the quality of competition and prize money on offer. Hanžeković Memorial ( hr, Hanžekovićev memorijal) is an athletics event at the Sportski Park Mladost athletic stadium in Zagreb, Croatia as part of the IAAF World Challenge Meetings. It was first organized in 1951. ''Hanžek'' (which is the popular name of meeting) was first held in 1951 as a local level meeting. Seven years later, in 1958, it became an international competition. From 1999 to 2009 the IAAF classified the Hanžeković Memorial among IAAF Grand Prix meetings and it gained IAAF World Challenge meeting status upon the inauguration of that series in 2010. The meeting got its name in memory of renowned Zagreb runner Boris Hanžeković. Born on 10 November 1916, Hanžeković graduated law in Zagreb, but became known for winning races in different disciplines; he was the junior state champion in 100 and 200 meter races multiple times, in the 110 m hurdles and in both 4 x 100 metres relay and 4 x 400 metres relay. Kamila Skolimowska Memorial
The Kamila Skolimowska Memorial (or Kamila Skolimowska Throwing Festival) is an annual track and field meeting held at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów, Poland in July, organized by the Kamila Skolimowska Foundation. The inaugural edition took place at the RKS Skra Stadium in Warsaw in 2009, the next editions were held at Warsaw's Orzeł Stadium until it moved to National Stadium in 2014. From 2018 onwards the meeting moved to Chorzów. In 2020 the meeting was part of the inaugural World Athletics Continental Tour. Since 2022, the event has been part of the Diamond League series. USATF New York Grand Prix
The USATF New York Grand Prix is an annual athletics meeting held at Icahn Stadium in New York City, United States. First started in 2005 as the Reebok Grand Prix and then Adidas Grand Prix, it was previously one of the IAAF Grand Prix events. It was part of the Diamond League competition through 2015. The IAAF announced on March 3, 2016, that New York would be replaced immediately by Rabat, Morocco, on the Diamond League tour. Local organizers the same day said they would announce plans to carry on the meet as a street event in New York. The meeting was eventually replaced in 2016 by the Adidas Boost Boston Games.
