2022 San Marino And Rimini Riviera Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2022 San Marino and Rimini Riviera motorcycle Grand Prix (officially known as the Gran Premio Gryfyn di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini) was the fourteenth round of the 2022 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season, and the sixth and final round of the 2022 MotoE World Cup. All races (except MotoE race 1 which was held on 3 September) were held at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Misano Adriatico on 4 September 2022. The two independent Ducati teams, Gresini Racing and Mooney VR46 Racing Team used a special livery in this race. Gresini Racing uses a special livery as a form of respect for the late Fausto Gresini. Meanwhile, Mooney VR46 Racing Team wears a special livery to continue Valentino Rossi's tradition of using a helmet with a special design every race in Italy. Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli
The Misano World Circuit (officially known as Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli or Misano Circuit Sic 58, and before 2006 called Circuito Internazionale Santa Monica) is a race track located next to the town of Misano Adriatico (Province of Rimini) in the frazione of Santa Monica-Cella. Originally designed in 1969 as a length of , it hosted its first event in 1972. In 1993, the track length was increased to . As of 2007, it began hosting the San Marino and Rimini Coast Grand Prix as part of the MotoGP World Championship. Deniz Öncü (born 26 July 2003) is a Turkish motorcycle racer, currently competing in the Moto3 World Championship, for team Red Bull KTM Tech3. His twin brother, Can Öncü, is also a motorcycle racer. Gresini Racing is a motorcycle racing team competing in the MotoGP World Championship under the name Gresini Racing MotoGP as a Ducati satellite team, in the Moto2 World Championship as Team Gresini Moto2, and the MotoE World Cup as Felo Gresini MotoE. The 2022 MotoE World Cup (known officially as the 2022 FIM Enel MotoE World Cup for sponsorship reasons) will be the fourth season of the MotoE World Cup for electric motorcycle racing, and is part of the 74th F.I.M. Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. This will be the last season of Energica being the sole supplier of the World Cup as they will withdraw from the Cup after the season, with Ducati expected to take their place as the new sole manufacturer starting 2023. 2022 Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing Season
The 2022 FIM MotoGP World Championship was the premier class of the 74th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Fabio Quartararo came into the season as the defending World Champion. Ducati secured the constructors' championship, with the factory Ducati Lenovo Team securing the teams' championship and factory rider Francesco Bagnaia achieving the riders' championship. Dominique Aegerter (born 30 September 1990) is a Swiss professional road racer of solo motorcycles, competing in both the MotoE World Championship and the Supersport World Championship. Gas Gas is a Spanish motorcycle manufacturer established in 1985 by Narcìs Casas and Josep Pibernat in Salt, Girona.
