2022 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming And Diving Championships
The 2022 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships were contested March 16–19, 2022 at the 40th annual NCAA-sanctioned swim meet to determine the team and individual national champions of Division I women's collegiate swimming and diving in the United States. This year's events were hosted by the Georgia Institute of Technology at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The result was controversial, with some conservative figures calling the result unfair. The Louisville Cardinals (also known as the Cards) are the NCAA athletic teams representing the University of Louisville. The Cardinals teams play in the Atlantic Coast Conference, beginning in the 2014 season. She qualified for the 2020 Olympic Games in the 400m individual medley and won the silver medal in this event. In 2021 she placed second in the 200m meter individual medley at the 2020 Olympic Swimming Trials, qualifying for the US Olympic Team.
