2022 NASCAR Mexico Series
The 2022 NASCAR Mexico Series was the fifteenth season of the NASCAR Mexico Series, a regional stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in Mexico. It is the eighteenth season of the series as a NASCAR-sanctioned series. It began with the Gran Premio Nus–Kah at Súper Óvalo Chiapas on 10 April and ended with the NASCAR Puebla Gran Final at Autódromo Miguel E. Abed on 11 December. The series reverted back to the NASCAR Mexico Series name starting this year after PEAK (and parent company Old World Industries) did not continue their title sponsorship and a replacement title sponsor was not found. The last year where the series did not have a title sponsor and had this name was 2015. Salvador de Alba Jr. entered the season as the defending champion. Rubén García Jr. won his record-breaking fourth championship in the series in 2022. San Luis Potosí City
San Luis Potosí, commonly called SLP or simply San Luis, is the capital and the most populous city of the Mexican state of San Luis Potosí. Super Óvalo Potosino
The Super Óvalo Potosino (formerly Autódromo Potosino) is a half-mile paved oval located near the city of San Luis Potosí in Mexico. The track was opened in 1983 as a road course. It was built by Promotodo, an enterprise owned by Michel Jourdain Sr., which organized the defunct Marlboro Cup, which was arguably the most important racing series in the country at that time. In 2005, after several years of not being used, the track was rebuilt as a half-mile oval to host NASCAR events. The track is used primarily by the NASCAR Corona Series and T4 Series. A few local events are also held. Xavier Hernández Creus (born 25 January 1980), known as Xavi is a Spanish professional football manager and former player who is the manager of La Liga club Barcelona. Tlajomulco de Zúñiga is a city and municipality in the state of Jalisco in central-western Mexico. It forms part of the Guadalajara metropolitan area, lying to the southeast of it.
