2022 Melon Music Awards
The 2022 Melon Music Awards was held on November 26, 2022, at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea. Organized by Kakao M through its online music store Melon, the 2022 ceremony was the fourteenth installment of the event and its first fully offline ceremony since 2019 Melon Music Awards, 2019. Artists who released music between November 8, 2021, and November 3, 2022, are eligible for the awards. Lim Young-woong won two Daesang, daesangs—Artist of the Year and Album of the Year, while BTS were awarded the Record of the Year. Ive (group), Ive won the Song of the Year, the group's first ever daesang win, alongside Best New Artist with NewJeans, marking the first time two female acts won in the rookie category during the same ceremony. Gocheok Sky Dome
The Gocheok Sky Dome () is a domed baseball stadium located in Gocheok-dong, Seoul, South Korea. It is the home ballpark of KBO League, KBO club Kiwoom Heroes. The stadium is primarily used for baseball and has a capacity for 16,744 spectators for baseball games. The stadium replaced Dongdaemun Baseball Stadium and opened on 15 September 2015. It also serves as a concert venue, with a capacity for around 25,000 spectators. Yoo Chan-wook (; born April 27, 2000), known professionally as Be'O (; stylized in all caps), is a South Korean rapper and songwriter. He first garnered attention when he appeared on the rap competition TV show ''Show Me the Money 10'' in 2021.
