2022 Formula Regional Asian Championship
The 2022 Formula Regional Asian Championship was a multi-event, Formula Regional open-wheel single seater motor racing championship. The championship featured a mix of professional and amateur drivers, competing in Formula Regional cars. It was the fifth season of the championship, and the first season under the Formula Regional moniker, after a rebrand happened due to the FIA ending the F3 category name. The season was held over five consecutive weekends in January and February 2022. For the first time, the second race of a weekend was a reversed-grid race, reversing the top 10 finishers of race one. Arthur Leclerc won the drivers' championship with two races to spare, while his team, Mumbai Falcons India Racing, won the teams' championship. Pepe Martí, second overall, won the Rookie Cup, and Khaled Al Qubaisi earned Masters Cup honors. F3 Asian Championship
The Formula Regional Asian Championship is an FIA-certified regional Formula 3 racing series, which started in 2018. On 26 January 2018 it was confirmed that pan-Asian promoter Top Speed would organise the championship. Despite using Formula Regional cars since its establishment, the series was called F3 Asian Championship for four years until it was eventually rebranded in December 2021, when the FIA brought an end to F3 as a category. The inaugural 2018 championship season featured 15 races held during five rounds of 3-race weekends on circuits across Asia. Oliver Bearman
Oliver Bearman (born 8 May 2005) is a British racing driver. He was the 2021 Italian and ADAC Formula 4 champion and is a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy. He most recently competed for Prema Racing in the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Championship, ending the championship in third place, seven points off winner Victor Martins. In November 2022, the Italian Prema Racing announced Bearman’s move to FIA Formula 2 for the 2023 season. Dino Beganovic ( bs, Beganović [ˈdino bɛˈɡanovitɕ]; born 19 January 2004) is a Swedish-Bosnian racing driver, currently set to compete in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship with Prema Racing. Pierre-Louis Chovet (born 11 April 2002) is a French racing driver. Career Karting Pierre-Louis Chovet practiced many sports during his childhood such as skiing, BMX or tennis. He attended the 2011 Monaco Grand Prix and quickly developed a passion for motorsports. He quickly discovered karting, by participating in PACA-Corsica regional championships, where he won the Cadet title in 2015. The following year, he finished second in the French Cup in Cadets. Ido Cohen (born 16 August 2001) is an Israeli racing driver who is currently competing in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship for Rodin Carlin. Gabriele Minì (born 20 March 2005) is an Italian racing driver who is scheduled to race in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship with Hitech Grand Prix.
