The 2022 El Paso Locomotive FC season is the fourth season for El Paso Locomotive FC in the USL Championship (USL-C), the second-tier professional soccer league in the United States and Canada. El Paso Locomotive FC also participates in the U.S. Open Cup and competes with all other professional teams in Texas for the Copa Tejas. El Paso Locomotive FC is an American professional association football, soccer team based in El Paso, Texas. Founded in 2018, the team made its debut in the USL Championship in 2019. Club crest and colors The Locomotive brand was unveiled on October 4, 2018, beating out finalists Lagartos, Estrellas, Stars, and Tejanos. The crest is shaped in a manner similar to Architecture of the California missions, Mission Style buildings and features three main colors: West Texas Sky blue, Desert Dusk blue, and High Noon Sun. The crest has 11 vertical stripes that represent the eleven players on the field and resemble the front of a locomotive. Christiano François (born July 17, 1993) is a Haitian professional footballer who plays as a winger for the Rio Grande Valley FC in the USL Championship and for the Haiti national team.
