2022 Dayton Flyers Baseball Team
The 2022 Dayton Flyers baseball team represents the University of Dayton during the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Flyers play their home games at Woerner Field as a member of the Atlantic 10 Conference. They are led by head coach Jayson King, in his 5th season at Dayton. Background The 2021 season saw Fordham post a 24–27 (12–4 Atlantic 10) record. The Flyers reached the championship round of the 2021 Atlantic 10 Conference baseball tournament, where they lost to 2021 VCU Rams baseball team, VCU. They did not earn an at-large bid into the 2021 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. Preseason Coaches poll The Atlantic 10 baseball coaches' poll was released on February 15, 2022. Jayson King
Jayson King in an American college baseball coach, currently serving as head coach of the Dayton Flyers baseball program. He was previously the long-time head coach of the Franklin Pierce College Ravens. In 1998, King managed the Bourne Braves, a collegiate summer baseball team in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League. He has additionally coached the Lowell Spinners and the United States national baseball team. He is a native of Oakwood, Ohio. He and his wife Missy have two children. 2022 Michigan Wolverines Baseball Team
The 2022 Michigan Wolverines baseball team represented the University of Michigan in the 2022 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Wolverines, led by head coach Erik Bakich in his tenth season, are a member of the Big Ten Conference and played their home games at Wilpon Baseball Complex in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The Wolverines won the 2022 Big Ten baseball tournament and qualified for the NCAA tournament. Mastodon Field is a baseball venue in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States. It is home to the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons baseball team of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA NCAA Division I, Division I Horizon League. Alexander Field is a baseball venue in West Lafayette, Indiana, United States. It is home to the Purdue Boilermakers baseball team of the NCAA Division I Big Ten Conference. The field hosted its first game in spring 2013. The venue has a capacity of 1,500 spectators that is expandable to 2,500 spectators.
