2022 Clásica De San Sebastián
The 2022 Clásica de San Sebastián was a road bicycle racing, road cycling one-day race that took place on 30 July 2022 in San Sebastián, Spain. It was the 41st edition of the Clásica de San Sebastián and the 24th event of the 2022 UCI World Tour. The pre-race favourites included Remco Evenepoel and Tadej Pogačar, with the field split between riders looking to carry their 2022 Tour de France, Tour de France form into the event, and others using the race to build towards the late summer and autumn schedule. The race began on flat terrain, with the second half of the route mountainous and favouring those riders stronger at climbing. The 2022 UCI World Tour was a series of races that included thirty-one road cycling events throughout the 2022 cycling season. The tour started with the UAE Tour on 20 February, and concluded with the Il Lombardia on 8 October. Events The 2022 calendar was announced in the autumn of 2021. Rigoberto Urán Urán, ODB (born 26 January 1987) is a Colombian professional road racing cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Mattias Skjelmose Jensen (born 26 September 2000) is a Danish professional cyclist who rides for UCI WorldTeam . The 2022 Tour de France was the 109th edition of the Tour de France. It started in Copenhagen, Denmark on 1 July 2022 and ended with the final stage on the Champs-Élysées, Paris on 24 July 2022. Denmark's Jonas Vingegaard () won the general classification for the first time. Remco Evenepoel (born 25 January 2000) is a Belgian cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He is the son of Patrick Evenepoel, a former racing cyclist who won the 1993 Grand Prix de Wallonie.
