2022 CAFA Women's Championship
The 2022 CAFA Women's Championship was the second edition of the CAFA Women's Championship, the quadrennial international women's football championship organised by the CAFA for the women's national teams of Central Asia. The tournament was hosted by Tajikistan. All but Afghanistan entered the tournament as the team's participation was impossible under the Taliban rule. with Turkmenistan making its debut in the tournament. Uzbekistan were the defending champions, having won their first title in 2018. They managed to retain the title undefeated. Hosts Tajikistan finished last losing three games and drawing one against the debutant Turkmenistan who finished fourth with one point apart from their Tajik counterpart.
