2022 Badminton Asia Team Championships
The 2022 Badminton Asia Team Championships (also known as the 2022 Selangor Badminton Asia Team Championship) was held at the Setia City Convention Centre in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, from 15 to 20 February 2022. This championships was organised by the Badminton Asia with Badminton Association of Malaysia as the host organiser. It was sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation. It served as the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 Thomas & Uber Cup in Thailand. Indonesia, the three-time champions, and Japan were the defending champions of the men's and women's category respectively. Leong Jun Hao
Leong Jun Hao (; born 13 July 1999) is a Malaysian badminton player. He was the boys' singles champion at the 2017 Asia Junior Championships. This achievement was followed by a silver medal at World Junior Championships. Personal life Leong was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur to Celine Low and Anthony Leong. He started playing badminton for fun outside his house. At the age of 9, he started playing the sport seriously under his father’s tutelage. Yeremia Erich Yotje Yacob Rambitan (born 15 October 1999) is an Indonesian badminton player, who also plays for Exist Jakarta in the national event. He won the mixed doubles Junior National Championships title in 2016, and the boys' doubles bronze medal at the World Junior Championships in 2017. Bagas Maulana (born 20 July 1998) is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Djarum club. Career In the junior event, Maulana won a boys' doubles Junior Grand Prix title in 2016 partnered with Muhammad Fachrikar. Daniel Marthin
Daniel Marthin (born 31 July 2001) is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Djarum club since 2015. He was a champion at the 2019 Asian and World Junior Championships in the boys' doubles event. Marthin was part of Indonesia winning team at the 2020 Thomas Cup. Pramudya Kusumawardana Riyanto (born 13 December 2000) is an Indonesian badminton player from Sukabumi, who affiliate with Djarum club. He was part of the Indonesian junior team that won the bronze medals at the 2018 Asian and World Junior Championships, and also the boys' doubles bronze in the 2018 Asian Junior Championships. Leo Rolly Carnando (born 29 July 2001) is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with PB Djarum club. Soh Wooi Yik (, born 17 February 1998) is a Malaysian badminton player.
