The 2021–22 NBL season was the 41st season for the Perth Wildcats in the NBL. The 2022 season marks the first time in 35 years that the Perth Wildcats have not qualified for the finals, having last failed to do so in 1986. Matt Hodgson (basketball)
Matthew John Hodgson (born 2 August 1991) is an Australian professional basketball player. He played college basketball for Southern Utah University and Saint Mary's College of California before debuting in the National Basketball League (NBL) for the Adelaide 36ers in 2015. After three seasons with the 36ers, he played three seasons with the Brisbane Bullets. Early life Hodgson was born in the Ipswich suburb of Booval and later attended Ipswich Grammar School where he played basketball for coach Danny Breen. He graduated from Ipswich Grammar in 2008, and earned himself a scholarship to the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in 2009. That same year, he represented the Australian Under-19 national team at the FIBA Under-19 World Championship, helping Australia finish fourth with tournament averages of 4.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in seven games. Adelaide Entertainment Centre
The Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC) is an indoor arena located in the South Australian capital of Adelaide. It is used for sporting and entertainment events. Michael Frazier II
Michael Frazier II (born March 8, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for the Illawarra Hawks of the National Basketball League (NBL). He played college basketball for the Florida Gators. College career In the 2013–14 season, Frazier scored eleven three-pointers in a win against South Carolina, setting a school record. The Cairns Convention Centre is a convention and entertainment centre in Cairns, Queensland, Australia. The venue was selected the World's Best Congress Centre in 2004 and 2014. Kevin David White (born 7 April 1987) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Illawarra Hawks of the National Basketball League (NBL). High school career White attended Scots College in Sydney, and was a member of its 2004 premiership winning basketball team. He was named the New South Wales High School Basketballer of the Year during his senior year in 2005. College career White redshirted his freshman season while attending San Diego Christian College to recover from a shoulder injury during the 2006–07 season. Majok Maker Majok (born 10 December 1992) is a South Sudanese-Australian professional basketball player who last played for the Perth Wildcats of the National Basketball League (NBL). He played college basketball for the Ball State Cardinals for two years, leading the Mid-American Conference (MAC) in rebounding and earning third-team all-conference honors in both seasons. Early life and career Majok was born in Rumbek, South Sudan, and moved to Australia when he was eight. His family settled in Perth. Kyle Luke Zunic (born 4 March 1999) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Perth Wildcats of the National Basketball League (NBL). He played four seasons of college basketball in the United States for the Winthrop Eagles before joining the Wildcats in 2021. Early life and career Zunic was born in Sydney, New South Wales, in the southern suburb of Kogarah. His family later moved to Sanctuary Point, where he attended Sanctuary Point Public School. Oliver Harry Hayes-Brown (born 28 April 2000) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Perth Wildcats of the National Basketball League (NBL). He played one season of college basketball for the UC Riverside Highlanders. Early life and career Hayes-Brown grew up in Melbourne, Victoria, where he attended Peninsula Grammar. He played for the Dandenong Rangers as a junior and was a member of an Australian U19 national team. Hayes-Brown debuted in the semi-pro SEABL in 2017 with the Frankston Blues. Luke Jacob Travers (born 3 September 2001) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Perth Wildcats of the National Basketball League (NBL). Opting to forgo college basketball in the United States to begin his professional career in Australia, he made his debut for the Wildcats as a development player in 2019 and became an NBL champion in 2020. At state league level, he played three seasons for the Rockingham Flames in the State Basketball League (SBL) between 2017 and 2019, and then had a stint with the Cockburn Cougars in 2020 during the West Coast Classic.
