2021–22 Duke Blue Devils Men's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Duke Blue Devils men's basketball team represented Duke University during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Blue Devils played their home games at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, North Carolina, as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. On June 2, 2021, the school announced that Coach Mike Krzyzewski would retire following the completion of the 2021–22 season after 42 years as head coach of Duke and 47 years of coaching. Associate head coach Jon Scheyer was named the head coach in waiting to become the team's new head coach after the conclusion of the season. Jaemyn Mikal Brakefield (born December 19, 2000) is an American college basketball player for the Ole Miss Rebels of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). He previously played for the Duke Blue Devils. Jalen Tyrese Johnson (born December 18, 2001) is an American professional basketball player for the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
