2021–22 Boston Celtics Season
The 2021–22 Boston Celtics season is the 76th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Following the Celtics' first-round exit to the Brooklyn Nets in five games from last season, Danny Ainge left his role as the General Manager. Brad Stevens got promoted as the next President of Basketball Operations soon after. The Celtics hired Ime Udoka as the next head coach on June 28, 2021. With the Portland Trail Blazers missing the postseason for the first time since 2013, the Celtics now hold the longest active playoff streak, making the playoffs every year since the 2014–15 season. They also clinched the Atlantic Division title for the first time since 2017 with a 139–110 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. Ime Sunday Udoka ( ; born August 9, 1977) is a Nigerian-American professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA), currently suspended by the team for the 2022–23 Boston Celtics season, 2022–23 season. The 2021–22 Milwaukee Bucks season is the 54th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Bucks entered the season as defending champions after winning the 2021 NBA Finals against the Phoenix Suns in the previous season in six games being the first team since the 2005–06 Miami Heat to come back after trailing 2-0. Robert Williams III
Robert Lee Williams III (born October 17, 1997), nicknamed "Time Lord", is an American professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Texas A&M Aggies. Williams was drafted 27th overall in the 2018 NBA draft by the Celtics. Aaron Joshua Nesmith (born October 16, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Vanderbilt Commodores. Marcus Osmond Smart (born March 6, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
