2021 FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup
The 2021 FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup was the sixth edition of the European 3x3 basketball event that featured separate competitions for men's and women's national teams. It was held between 10 and 12 September 2021 in Paris, France. Qualification The qualification events took place in 25-26 June in Tel Aviv, Israel and 26-27 June in Constanta, Romania, respectively. Twelve men's teams and 12 women's team qualified for the final tournament. In the men's, host France, 2019 champs Serbia, Russia and Slovenia have qualified based on ranking. In the women's, host and 2019 champs France, Russia, Netherlands and Romania are automatically through. In each qualifying tournament, four men's teams and four women's teams earned spots for the final event. 2021 BAL Season
The 2021 BAL season, also known as BAL Season 1, was the inaugural season of the Basketball Africa League (BAL). Established as a joint effort between the National Basketball Association (NBA) and FIBA, the BAL is the highest tier continental league of Africa, replacing the FIBA Africa Basketball League. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the BAL held its inaugural season one year later as planned, with the season beginning in 2021. Initially the league planned to play in six venues in six countries; however, due to the pandemic the season was held in a bio-secure bubble in Kigali, Rwanda. The season began on 16 May 2021 and ended on 30 May 2021. Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski, also known as Arged BM Slam Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski for sponsorship reasons, is a Polish basketball team, based in Ostrów Wielkopolski. 2020–21 FIBA Europe Cup
The 2020–21 FIBA Europe Cup was the sixth season of the FIBA Europe Cup, a European professional basketball competition for clubs, that was launched by FIBA. The season started on 26 January 2021 as it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ironi Nes Ziona won its first European title, after defeating Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski in the final in Tel Aviv. 2020–21 BCLA Season
The 2021 Basketball Champions League Americas season was the 14th edition of the top-tier level professional club basketball competition in the Americas and the second of the Basketball Champions League Americas (BCLA) since launched by FIBA in 2019. The season began on 31 January 2021 and ended on 13 April 2021. Flamengo won its second continental championship after defeating Real Estelí in the final in Managua.
