Juan Francisco Sarasti Jaramillo (30 July 1938 – 25 February 2021) was a Colombian Roman Catholic archbishop. Biography Sarasti Jaramillo was born in Cali, Colombia and was ordained to the priesthood in 1963. He served as titular bishop of ''Egara'' and as auxiliary bishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cali, Colombia, from 1978 to 1983. He then served as bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Barrancabermeja, Colombia from 1983 to 1993 and as archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Ibagué, Colombia from 1993 to 2002. He served as archbishop of the Cali Archdiocese from 2002 to 2011. Diego Molano Vega (born 6 October 1967) is former Minister of Information Technologies and Communications of Colombia. He was appointed as minister by President Juan Manuel Santos since 2010. Tumaco
Tumaco is a port city and municipality in the Nariño Department, Colombia, by the Pacific Ocean. It is located on the southwestern corner of Colombia, near the border with Ecuador, and experiences a hot tropical climate. Tumaco is inhabited mainly by Afro-Colombians and some indigenous people. Tumaco is accessible by plane from Pasto, the capital city of Nariño Department, as well from Cali and Bogotá. It can also be reached by land via highway from Pasto and San Lorenzo (Ecuador). Darién Gap
The Darién Gap (, , es, Tapón del Darién , ) is a geographic region between the North and South American continents within Central America, consisting of a large watershed, forest, and mountains in Panama's Darién Province and the northern portion of Colombia's Chocó Department. The "gap" in question is that of the Pan-American Highway, of which between Yaviza, Panama, and Turbo, Colombia, has not been built. Roadbuilding through this area is expensive and detrimental to the environment.
