2021 World Touring Car Cup
The 2021 World Touring Car Cup was the fourth season of the World Touring Car Cup and 17th overall of the series, which dates back to the 2005 World Touring Car Championship. The season began on 5 June at the Nürburgring and ended on 28 November in Sochi. Teams and drivers Summary JAS Motorsport and Honda Racing retained their 2020 drivers – Attila Tassi, Tiago Monteiro, Néstor Girolami and Esteban Guerrieri – for the 2021 season. On 15 January it was announced that all four drivers would continue to compete for Münnich Motorsport and announced that Attila Tassi and Tiago Monteiro would join the ALL-INKL.DE Münnich Motorsport with Néstor Girolami and Esteban Guerrieri remaining at the ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport. Yann Ehrlacher
Yann Ehrlacher (born 4 July 1996) is a French auto racing driver who competes in the World Touring Car Cup for Cyan Racing, Cyan Performance Lynk & Co. He was the 2020 World Touring Car Cup winner and defended the title in 2021. He is the son of former racing driver Cathy Muller and :fr:Yves Ehrlacher, Yves Ehrlacher, a former professional footballer. Néstor Girolami
Néstor Adrián Girolami (born May 22, 1989 in Cordoba Province), also known by the nickname "Bebu", is an Argentine racing driver. His brother Franco is also racing driver. Career He began competing in karts in 1993. He remained in this discipline until 2005. The following year he made his debut in Formula Renault Argentina and the next he was runner-up, as well as in Formula Renault Plus. He made his debut in TC 2000 in 2007, racing in one of his participations with the official Honda Argentina team. In 2008 it went to TC Pista and Turismo Nacional and in 2009 it returned to TC 2000 and debuted in Turismo Carretera and Top Race V6. Jessica Bäckman
Jessica Bäckman (born 25 August 1997) is a Swedish racing driver currently competing in the ADAC TCR Germany for Comtoyou Racing. She is the sister of fellow racing driver Andreas Bäckman. Jessica Bäckman has previously raced in World Touring Car Cup where she was the first women to achieve World Cup points in the series, and she was recently crowned the Vice Champion title in ADAC TCR Germany. Target Competition is an Italian auto racing team based in Eppan an der Weinstraße, Italy. The team is currently competing in the World Touring Car Cup and others TCR series. The team has previously raced in the TCR Europe Touring Car Series, SEAT León Eurocup and TCR International Series. Tom Coronel
Tom Romeo Coronel (born 5 April 1972) is a Dutch professional racing driver. Tom's twin brother Tim is also a racer, just like their father Tom Coronel Sr. His most important results are winning the Marlboro Masters of Formula 3 race in 1997, the Formula Nippon championship in 1999, and the 2006 and 2009 World Touring Car Championship Independents' Trophy. As of September 2016, Tom Coronel has driven over 1,000 races. He is currently still racing in the WTCC, where he won his first WTCC race in Okayama, Japan in 2008. After competing as an independent driver in a SEAT for many years Tom switched to BMW in 2011. Nathanaël Berthon (born 1 July 1989 in Romagnat) is a professional racing driver from France. Career Karting Berthon began his international karting career in 2006, with the highlights being a third-place finish in the Copa Campeones Trophy ICA class and fifth in the French Championship Elite category. The following year he again finished fifth in the French Championship Elite class. He also finished eighth in the South Garda Winter Cup KF1 and 13th in the World Cup KF1 categories. Frédéric Vervisch ( ; born 10 August 1986 in Kortrijk) is a Belgian racing driver who currently races in the GT World Challenge Europe. Career Early career A winner of numerous karting championships, Vervisch moved to auto racing in 2003 making a single start in the Formula Three French Cup and immediately won upon his debut. The Audi RS 3 LMS TCR is a racing car built according to the TCR rule system. It is based on the Audi RS 3 sedan.
