2021 U.S. Senior Women's Open
The 2021 U.S. Senior Women's Open was the third U.S. Senior Women's Open. It was a professional golf tournament organized by the United States Golf Association, open to women over 50 years of age. The championship was played at the Brooklawn Country Club, Fairfield, Connecticut, United States, from July 29 to August 1 and won by Annika Sörenstam. The 2020 championship was canceled due to health concerns stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. Venue The hosting club was founded in 1895. It had previously hosted four United States Golf Association, USGA Championships, including the 1979 U.S. Women's Open. Course layout The final length came to differ between each round. Donna Andrews (golfer)
Donna Andrews (born April 12, 1967) is an American professional golfer. Born in Lynchburg, Virginia, Andrews played college golf at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and won the North and South Women's Amateur at Pinehurst in 1988. Andrews' rookie season on the LPGA Tour was 1990; she won six titles between 1993 and 1998, including a major championship, the 1994 Nabisco Dinah Shore, won with a birdie on the final hole. Michele Redman
Michele Redman (born April 15, 1965) is an American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour from 1992 through 2011. She is currently the women's golf coach at the University of Minnesota. Redman was born in Zanesville, Ohio. She attended Zanesville High School, where she played on the varsity boys' golf team. She attended Indiana University, where she won four events, was named All-American twice and All-Big Ten four times. She was the Big Ten Conference champion in 1987.
