Becky Iverson
Becky Iverson (born October 12, 1967) is an American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour. She currently works as the director of golf at The Bridges Golf Club in Madison, Wisconsin Amateur career Iverson was born in Escanaba, Michigan. She was 1986 Michigan Junior Amateur champion and 1987 Michigan Women's Amateur champion. She played her collegiate golf at Michigan State University where she was 1987 Academic All-American and 1987-88 Academic All-Big Ten. Professional career Iverson played full-time on the Futures Tour from 1989 to 1993 and sparingly since 1994, winning three times. In 1993, she tied for 43rd at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn non-exempt status for the 1994 LPGA season. She gained her first LPGA victory in 1995 at the Friendly's Classic. Escanaba, Michigan
Escanaba ( ), commonly shortened to Esky, is a port city in Delta County in the U.S. state of Michigan, located on Little Bay de Noc in the state's Upper Peninsula. The population was 12,616 at the 2010 census, making it the third-largest city in the Upper Peninsula after Marquette and Sault Ste. Marie. It is the seat of government of Delta County. There is also Escanaba Township, which is north of the city and is not adjacent to it, although a portion of the urban area around the city extends into the township. Both are named for the Escanaba River, which flows into the Little Bay de Noc of Lake Michigan just north of the city. The names are derived from the Ojibwa language. The 1995 LPGA Tour was the 46th season since the LPGA Tour officially began in 1950. The season ran from January 12 to November 5. The season consisted of 33 official money events. Annika Sörenstam won the most tournaments, three. She also led the money list with earnings of $666,533. Rosie Jones (born November 13, 1959) is an American professional golfer, with 13 LPGA Tour career victories and nearly $8.4 million in tournament earnings. Amateur career Jones was born in Santa Ana, California. In her amateur career, she was a three time New Mexico Junior Champion (1974–76) and won the New Mexico State Championship in 1979.
