2021 Super2 Series
The 2021 Super2 & Super3 Series was an Australian motor racing competition for Supercars, which is being staged as a support series to the 2021 Supercars Championship. It was the twenty-second running of the Supercars Development Series, the second tier of competition in Supercars racing. 2021 saw Super3 entries competing alongside Super2 Series cars as a class for the first time within the series which also marked at the same time as the fourteenth running of the Super3 Series itself (Formerly the Kumho Tyre V8 Touring Car Series before officially becoming a third-tier Supercars Series in 2019 as the Kumho Tyre Super3 Series). Super2 Series
The Dunlop Super2 Series (formerly known as Dunlop Series, Fujitsu V8 Supercars Series, HPDC V8 Supercars Series, Konica Minolta V8 Supercars Series and Konica V8 Supercars/Lites Series) is an Australian touring car racing competition, specifically the second tier series for Supercars competitors. Competing vehicles are older than those utilised in the Supercars Championship series and are usually run by smaller teams with lower budgets. The series is a critical stepping stone in driver development, the pathway to the Repco Supercars Championship and a place where young drivers can hone their skills and showcase their talent in front of the championship teams. Eggleston Motorsport is an Australian motor racing team which is currently competing in the Dunlop Super2 Series, Dunlop Super3 Series and the Australian GT Championship. The team's current Super2 drivers are Matt McLean and Jack Sipp, with Jack Perkins, Tim Blanchard and Tony D'Alberto stepping in for guest appearances. Triple Eight Race Engineering, (branded as Red Bull Ampol Racing) is an Australian motor racing team competing in the Supercars Championship. The team has been the only Brisbane based V8 Supercar team since its formation, originally operating out of the former Briggs Motor Sport workshop in Bowen Hills before moving to Banyo in 2009. Zak Best (born 11 October 2001) is an Australian racing car driver. He currently competes in the Dunlop Super2 Series in the No. 78 Ford FG X Falcon, with wins, podiums and poles to his name in the Super2 Series. He also raced in the 2021 Bathurst 1000, finishing in fifteenth. Matthew Chahda (born 12 September 1993) is an Australian racing car driver.
