2021 Silverstone FIA Formula 2 Round
The 2021 Silverstone Formula 2 round was the fourth round of the 2021 Formula 2 Championship and took place at the Silverstone Circuit from 16 to 18 July. It ran in support of the 2021 British Grand Prix and featured three races, which were won by Robert Shwartzman, Richard Verschoor, who took his first ever win in Formula 2, and Guanyu Zhou respectively. Silverstone Circuit
Silverstone Circuit is a motor racing circuit in England, near the Northamptonshire villages of Towcester, Silverstone and Whittlebury. It is the home of the British Grand Prix, which it first hosted as the 1948 British Grand Prix. The 1950 British Grand Prix at Silverstone was the first race in the newly created World Championship of Drivers. The race rotated between Silverstone, Aintree and Brands Hatch from 1955 to 1986, but settled permanently at the Silverstone track in 1987. The circuit also hosts the British round of the MotoGP series. On 30 September 2004, British Racing Drivers' Club president Jackie Stewart announced that the British Grand Prix would not be included on the 2005 provisional race calendar and, if it were, would probably not occur at Silverstone. Jehan Daruvala (born 1 October 1998) is an Indian racing driver currently serving as a reserve driver for the Mahindra Racing Formula E team. Bent Max Calvin Viscaal (born 18 September 1999 in Almelo) is a Dutch racing driver who is set compete in the 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship with Prema Racing. Matteo Nannini (born 10 July 2003) is an Italian- Argentine racing driver who currently competes in Indy NXT for Juncos Hollinger Racing. His father is a first cousin of former Formula One driver Alessandro Nannini and of singer Gianna Nannini. Campos Racing is a Spanish motor racing team, founded by former Formula One driver Adrián Campos. The team has been successful in Formula Three and the GP2 Series. History After retiring from racing, Campos formed his own team at the end of 1997, under the name Campos Motorsport. Théo Jérôme Julien Pourchaire (born 20 August 2003) is a French racing driver, who most recently competed in the FIA Formula 2 Championship for the ART Grand Prix team and the reigining Formula 2 vice-champion.
