2021 Ocean X-Prix
The 2021 Ocean X-Prix was an Extreme E off-road race that was held on 29 and 30 May 2021 in Lac Rose, Senegal. It was the second round of the electric off-road racing car series' inaugural season. The final was won by championship leaders Molly Taylor and Johan Kristoffersson for the Rosberg X Racing team, ahead of Veloce Racing and JBXE. Classification Qualifying Notes: *  – Team awarded 5 additional points for being fastest in the Super Sector. Semi-final 1 Semi-final 2 Shootout Final * The race was red-flagged at the end of lap 1 to rescue the beached cars of JBXE and X44. It was resumed with a standing start with the second drivers. 2021 Extreme E Championship
The 2021 Extreme E Championship was the inaugural season of the Extreme E electric off-road racing series. It started on 3 April with the Desert X-Prix in Saudi Arabia. Calendar A provisional race schedule was announced on 17 December 2019, which would have seen a season start in January 2021 with an event in Senegal. But because of delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic the start of the season was pushed back to spring 2021, and a race in Patagonia was presented to replace a Nepal-based event. On 11 June 2021, both South American events –planned to be held in Ushuaia, Argentina and Santarém, Brazil– were cancelled, with championship CEO Alejandro Agag stating they are "seeking alternate destinations". Kyle LeDuc (born July 29, 1981) is an American professional racing driver. He mainly competes in short course off-road truck racing, where he has seven Pro 4 class championships, six of which came in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS), and over 100 career wins. , he races in Championship Off-Road (COR) and Extreme E, the latter for Chip Ganassi Racing. Sara Price (born September 2, 1992) is an American racing driver, having competed in motocross, rallying, the X Games, Stadium Super Trucks and Extreme E. Oliver Roy Bennett (born 7 November 1992) is a rallycross driver from Bristol, United Kingdom. He is the co-founder of the Xite Energy drink company, and competes in the FIA World Rallycross Championship and Extreme E for the Xite Energy Racing team.
