2021 NASCAR Pinty's Series
The 2021 NASCAR Pinty's Series is the fifteenth season of the Pinty's Series, the national stock car racing series in Canada sanctioned by NASCAR. It began with the Frontline Workers 125 at Sunset Speedway on August 1 and concluded with the Pinty's Fall Brawl at Delaware Speedway on September 26. Jason Hathaway entered the season as the defending drivers' champion. Louis-Philippe Dumoulin won the championship, his third in the series after previously winning the 2014 and 2018 titles. Drivers Schedule On 4 February 2021, NASCAR announced the 2021 schedule. It included an inaugural race at Ohsweken Speedway, which would have become the first dirt track race in series history, after being cancelled for the 2020 season Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the season's start was delayed and multiple races were cancelled. Dodge
Dodge is an American brand of automobiles and a division of Stellantis, based in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Dodge vehicles have historically included performance cars, and for much of its existence Dodge was Chrysler's mid-priced brand above Plymouth. Gary Klutt
Gary T. Klutt (born August 14, 1992) is a Canadian professional stock car racing driver and a member of the 2016 NASCAR Next class. He is also the Host of the Gary Klutt Podcast. He currently competes part-time in the NASCAR Pinty's Series, driving the No. 59 Dodge Challenger for Legendary Motorcar Company. He also co-hosts the Canadian reality television show ''Legendary Motorcar'' with his father Peter. He has also raced in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series. Alex Guenette
Alex Guenette (born April 25, 1996) is a Canadian professional stock car racing driver. The Quebec race car driver currently competes in the NASCAR Pinty's Series, driving the No. 39 for Dave Jacombs Racing. He has also competed in other series, most notably the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and ARCA Racing Series. Racing career Early years Guenette began his racing career at the age of seven, his father and grandfather being professional race car drivers. Before stock cars, Guenette raced go-karts, motocross and four-wheelers. He tested stock cars in 2011 at age fifteen, was rookie of the year in the 2012 Quebec Super Truck Series and finished second in the 2013 World Series of Asphalt. Andrew Ranger
Andrew Ranger (born November 20, 1986) is a Canadian professional racing driver who competes full-time in the NASCAR Pinty's Series, driving the No. 27 for Paillé Course//Racing. Ranger is a veteran of the Pinty's Series, having claimed 28 wins in 133 races. He was champion in 2007, 2009 and 2019, runner-up in 2016, third in 2012 and 2015, and fourth in 2008. Rick Ware
Richard S. Ware (born August 6, 1963) is a professional racecar driver and owner of Rick Ware Racing. When he was nine years old, he began racing motocross and moved up to the BMX class when he was 12. In 1983, he was named Rookie of the Year in the California Sports Car Club. He went on to win several titles in that series, as well as the SCCA and International Motor Sports Association, IMSA. He also competed in the 1984 Long Beach Grand Prix. In 1990, he moved to North Carolina and made his NASCAR Winston Cup Series debut that year at The Bud at the Glen in the No. 22 owned by Buddy Baker. He spent the next decade running short tracks in the Auto Racing Club of America, ARCA, and the Busch Series. Marc-Antoine Camirand
Marc-Antoine Camirand (born 30 April 1979) is a Canadian racing driver. He currently competes in the NASCAR Pinty's Series and is the 2022 NASCAR Pinty's Series champion. Early career Camirand began karting in the early 1990s, winning the F100 Junior class in the Quebec Karting Championship in 1993 and the Formula Super A class in the Canadian Karting Championship two years later in 1995. Camirand moved to cars in 1996, beginning with the Formula Ford Canada championship. Camirand won the championship in 1997 and afterwards moved on the U.S. F2000 National Championship. Alexandre Tagliani (; born October 18, 1973), nicknamed "Tag", is a Canadian professional racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series, driving the No. 18 Chevrolet Camaro for 22 Racing. Tagliani has competed in a variety of disciplines including open-wheel car, open-wheel, stock car racing, stock car, and sports car racing. Scott Steckly (born March 2, 1972) is a Canadian professional stock car racing driver and team owner. In his nine years competing in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, he drove the No. 22 Dodge Charger for his own 22 Racing team. He is the 2008, 2011, 2013, and 2015 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Champion. Kyle Marcelli (born 23 February 1990) is a Canadian racing driver who currently competes in the Michelin Pilot Challenge. Career Marcelli began his racing career in karts in 2005, before moving into single seaters for the 2006 Bridgestone F2000 Racing Series, in which he finished second. In December 2014, Marcelli was a part of the Davidson Racing team that won the yearly 25 Hours of Thunderhill, driving a Norma prototype chassis alongside co-drivers Randy Pobst, Alex Lloyd, and Brian Frisselle.
