The 2021 MTN 8 was the 47th edition of South Africa's annual soccer cup competition, the MTN 8. It featured the top eight teams of the Premier Soccer League at the end of the 2020–21 season. Orlando Pirates were defending champions, but were eliminated by Swallows. Terrence Mashego
Terrence Mashego (born 23 June 1998) is a South African professional soccer player who plays as a defender for South African Premier Division club Mamelodi Sundowns and the South African national team. Club career Mashego was born in Mamelodi, Gauteng. He joined Arcadia Shepherds' youth set-up in 2006. Mashego attended Bona Lesedi Secondary School, completing his education in 2014. He attended Tshwane University of Technology through a sports scholarship from 2016, combining study with playing for their football team but left after 8 months and signed for National First Division club Mthatha Bucks. He made one appearance for Bucks in the 2016–17 season and 10 appearances in the 2017–18 season. Mashego joined newly formed National First Division club TS Galaxy in 2018. Lucas "Masterpieces" Moripe Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium having a capacity of 28,900 and is located in Atteridgeville, a township (South Africa) of Pretoria, South Africa. Khama Billiat (born 19 August 1990) is a Zimbabwean professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for South African Premier Division club Kaizer Chiefs. Bernard Parker (born 16 March 1986) is a South African professional association footballer who plays as a midfielder or forward for Premier Soccer League club TS Galaxy. Between 2007 and 2015 he made 73 appearances for the South Africa national team scoring 23 goals. Parker started his professional football career playing for Thanda Royal Zulu in the Premier Soccer League, where he made 70 appearances before a one year loan to Serbian side Red Star Belgrade. Peter Shalulile (born 23 October 1993) is a Namibian professional footballer who plays as a striker for South African Premier Division side Mamelodi Sundowns and the Namibia national team.
