2021 Georgian Cup
The 2021 Georgian Cup is a single elimination association football tournament which began on 21 March 2021. The winner of this season's cup will earn a spot in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League. Gagra are the defending cup champions after winning the final in the previous season against Samgurali on penalties. First round Twenty-four first round matches were played on 21–23 March 2021. Second round Twelve second round matches were played on 26–27 March 2021. Third round Sixteen third round matches were played on 18–21 April 2021. Fourth round Eight fourth round matches were played on 19–20 May 2021. Quarterfinals The quarterfinals were played on 28 October 2021. Semifinals The semifinals were played on 24 November 2021. FC Gagra
FC Gagra ( ka, გაგრა) is a Georgia (country), Georgian association football, football club, which competes in Erovnuli Liga, the first tier of Football in Georgia (country), Georgian league system. The club has its origins in Gagra, Abkhazia. It was founded in Tbilisi by former player and coach Goderdzi Chikhradze and his cousin in 2004 with a plan to move the club to Gagra in the end, but due to the enduring Abkhaz–Georgian conflict the team plays its home games in Tbilisi. FC Gagra is the only non-top flight Georgian team, which has twice won David Kipiani Cup, the national Cup. FC Zestafoni
Football Club Zestafoni is a Georgian football club based in Zestafoni. They play their home games at David Abashidze Stadium. Zestafoni was founded on 18 June 2004 by the initiative of the shareholders of JSC Giorgi Nikoladze Zestafoni Ferro-Alloy Plant. At that time Zestafoni have their own club FC Metallurg Zestafoni. A new club was formed as Margveti Zestafoni joined Pirveli Liga and promoted in the first season. Margveti was a member of Umaglesi Liga and achieved their best result in 1995–96 by finishing runner-up. FC Betlemi Keda
FC Betlemi (''Georgian:'' საფეხბურთო კლუბი ბეთლემი) is a Georgian football club based in the town of Keda, Adjara. The history of Betlemi goes back to the Soviet times. Since the club's revival in 2010, they have drifted between the second and forth tiers. Following a highly successful 2023 season they won promotion to Liga 3. The club plays home matches at the local central stadium named after late captain Archil Partenadze in 2015. History Formed in 1950, Betlemi competed in regional competitions of the Georgian Soviet league. FC Matchakhela Khelvachauri
FC Matchakhela is a Georgia (country), Georgian football (soccer), football club based in the town of Khelvachauri. They currently compete in Liga 3 (Georgia), Liga 3, the third tier of the Football in Georgia (country), national league system. History Matchakhela were founded оn the basis of Khelvachauri Sport School in 2011. Amiran Gogitidze, the first head coach, guided the club to Meore Liga, which they won with automatic promotion. Matchakhela were engaged in inter-Adjarian rivalry with Dinamo Batumi for a second promotion place to Umaglesi Liga for most of the next season, in which eventually the latter prevailed. FC Aragvi Dusheti
FC Aragvi Dusheti, or simply Aragvi Dusheti ( ka, სკ დუშეთის არაგვი) is a Georgian association football club from Dusheti, currently based in Tbilisi. Following the 2023 season, the team won Liga 3 and advanced to Erovnuli Liga 2, the second tier of Georgian football. History Established in 1954, during the Soviet period Aragvi mainly participated in the East group of Georgian republican league 2. In the 2008–09 season, the team played in the Meore Liga. Shiola Shiolashvili led the team to first place in the third tier. In 2009–10 season the team had the opportunity to participate in the Pirveli Liga next year, but some financial problems made this goal unachievable. FC Magaroeli is a Georgia (country), Georgian football (soccer), football club from Chiatura. Following the 2022 season they were relegated to Regionuli Liga, the fifth tier of Football in Georgia (country), Georgian football system. The team has twice participated in the top tier. History Formed in 1923, Chiatura won the Georgian championship in 1975, and also clinched the domestic Cup title in 1978 and 1979. The club spent four seasons in the Soviet Second League, Soviet Second league. SFC Sturmi ( ka, სართიჭალის საფეხბურთო კლუბი შტურმი) is a Georgian football club based in the town of Sartichala. Being one of the youngest domestic teams, they started taking part in the fifth division of the Georgian league system in 2020 and within the four years progressed to Erovnuli Liga 2. FC Shukura Kobuleti
FC Shukura Kobuleti, commonly known as Shukura Kobuleti or simply Shukura, is a Georgian football club from Kobuleti, the second largest city of Adjara. After the 2022 season, they were promoted to Erovnuli Liga, the top tier of Georgian championship. History Established in 1968, Shukura played three seasons in the Soviet third division. After an independent Georgian league was formed in 1990, the club took part in II league competition before getting promoted to Umaglesi Liga for 1993/94. After one season, though, they lost the relegation battle. FC Skuri Tsalenjikha
FC Skuri, occasionally also spelled as Squri, is a Georgian football club, based in the town of Tsalenjikha. Currently they compete in Liga 4, the fourth tier of Georgian football. History During the late Soviet times, Skuri was mainly a member of the first division of the Georgian domestic league. After the 1990s the team competed for years in Pirveli Liga, the second division of national championship. Skuri suffered a defeat in the 2014–15 fierce survival battle, although still obtained the right to remain in the league after another club was expelled. FC Merani Martvili is a Georgian association football club based in Martvili, which currently takes part in Liga 2, the second division of Georgian league system. Being one of the youngest clubs, Merani have spent five seasons in the top division and once reached the final of David Kipiani Cup. FC Kolkheti-1913 is a Georgian football club based in Poti. Following the 2022 season, the club earned promotion to Liga 2, the second division of Erovnuli Liga. FC Meshakhte is a Georgian association football club based in Tkibuli. Following the 2022 season, the club was relegated to Liga 4, the fourth tier of Georgian football system. History Meshakhte participated in the Georgian Soviet league and twice, in 1980 and 1981, became champions. In 1964 and 1976 they also won the domestic Cup.
