2021 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship
The 2021 FIVB Women's Club World Championship was the 14th edition of the tournament. For the first time it was held in Ankara, Turkey from 15 to 19 December. Six teams competed in the tournament, including two wild cards. Ankara
Ankara ( , ; ), historically known as Ancyra and Angora, is the capital of Turkey. Tuğba Şenoğlu
Tuğba Şenoğlu (born 2 February 1998) is a Turkish volleyball player. She is tall and plays in the wing spiker position for Kurobe AquaFairies. She is part of the team which qualified for the Turkey at the 2020 Summer Olympics#Volleyball, postponed 2020 Summer Olympics. Personal life Tuğba Şenoğlu was born in Tarsus, Mersin, southern Turkey on 2 February 1998. She is a student of Istanbul Aydın University. Cansu Özbay
Cansu Özbay (; born 17 October 1996) is a Turkish professional volleyball player. She plays in the setter position. Currently, she plays for Vakıfbank Istanbul. She is a member of the Turkey women's national volleyball team. Playing career Club Cansu Özbay started her volleyball career in Göztepe than continued in the youth development team of Arkas Spor at her hometown in Izmir. She then transferred to the Istanbul-based club Beşiktaş .K. In January 2015, Özbay was loaned out from her club Beşiktaş JK to Nilüfer Belediyespor in Bursa, where she played the second half of the 2014–15 Turkish Women's Volleyball League season. At the end of the season, she returned to her relegated club to play in the 2015–16 Second League season. Her team finished the season as champion, and was promoted to the First League. Time in Turkey is given by UTC+03:00 year-round. This time is also called Turkey Time (''TRT''). The time at most is the same as in the Moscow Time and Arabia Standard Time zones. Ankara Arena
The Ankara Arena ( tr, Ankara Spor Salonu), is an indoor sporting arena that is located in Ankara, Turkey that opened in April 2010. The seating capacity of the arena is 10,400 spectators. Built for the 2010 FIBA World Championship, the new venue replaced the nearby Ankara Atatürk Sport Hall as the home of Turkish Basketball League clubs, Hacettepe Üniversitesi, Türk Telekom Basketbol and Optimum TED Ankara Kolejliler.
