2021 Euro Hockey League Women
The 2021 Euro Hockey League Women was the first edition of the Euro Hockey League Women, Europe's premier women's club field hockey tournament, organized by the European Hockey Federation. It was held alongside the men's tournament behind closed doors at the Wagener Stadium in Amstelveen, Netherlands from 3 to 5 April 2021. The tournament was originally scheduled to be held with eight teams from six countries. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions in the Netherlands the tournament was reduced to four teams with the four original seeded teams qualifying. Amstelveen
Amstelveen () is a municipality in the province of North Holland, Netherlands with a population of 92.353 as of 2022. It is a suburban part of the Amsterdam metropolitan area. The municipality of Amstelveen consists of the historical villages of Bovenkerk and Nes aan de Amstel. In addition, as well as Downtown Amstelveen (Dutch: ''Amstelveen stadshart''), the following neighbourhoods have been recently built: Westwijk, Bankras-Kostverloren, Groenelaan, Waardhuizen, Middenhoven, Randwijk, Elsrijk and Keizer Karelpark. Felice Albers (born 27 December 1999) is a Dutch field hockey player. Career Club hockey Albers plays club hockey for Amsterdam in the Dutch Hoofdklasse. Laurine Delforge
Laurine Delforge (born 18 July 1990) is an international field hockey umpire and a Belgian field hockey player. She was the winner of the 2016 FIH umpire award and was one of the two first women to umpire at the Euro Hockey League. Playing career Delforge started playing hockey when she was 6. She started playing at Royal Parc Hockey Club in Brussels, but later moved to Royal Antwerp. Delforge currently plays for Royal Antwerp in the top Belgian league. She played for all the Belgian youth squads, but has never played for the Belgian national women's team. However, she has been a member of the national indoor field hockey squad since 2011.
