2021 Clemson Tigers Women's Soccer Team
The 2021 Clemson Tigers women's soccer team represented Clemson University during the 2021 NCAA Division I women's soccer season. The Tigers were led by head coach Ed Radwanski, in his eleventh season. The Tigers home games were played at Riggs Field. This was the team's 28th season playing organized soccer. All of those seasons were played in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Tigers finished the season 12–7–1 and 6–3–1 in ACC play to finish in fifth place. As the fifth seed in the ACC Tournament, they defeated Notre Dame before falling to Virginia in the Semifinals. They earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament, where they lost to Alabama in the First Round to end their season. Ed Radwanski
Edward Radwanski (born May 5, 1963, Neptune Township, New Jersey) is an American former soccer midfielder. He spent the five seasons in the Major Soccer League, Major Indoor Soccer League, one in the Continental Indoor Soccer League and seven in the USISL and its predecessor, the SISL. He also earned five cap (sports), caps with the United States men's national soccer team, U.S. national team in 1985. Player Youth and college Radwanski grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Neptune High School in 1981. In 1999, he was named by ''The Star-Ledger'' as one of the top ten New Jersey high school soccer players of the 1980s. In addition to playing with his school teams, he was a member of the Wall Atoms youth club. The Washington Spirit is an American professional soccer club based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area that participates in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). It is a continuation of the D.C. United Women of the W-League and continues to field both an amateur WPSL team and a youth team, both under the Spirit name. 2021 NWSL Draft
The 2021 NWSL Draft was the ninth annual meeting of National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) franchises to select eligible college players. It was held on January 13, 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was the first NWSL Draft to be held virtually via videoconferencing and web streaming. The NC State Wolfpack women's soccer team represent North Carolina State University in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) of NCAA Division I women's college soccer. The team has never won the ACC regular season championship, but has won the ACC Tournament once. The team has advanced to the NCAA Women's soccer tournament 14 times. The Appalachian State Mountaineers are the athletic teams that represent Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, United States. The Mountaineers compete in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and were a member of the Southern Conference (SoCon) between 1972 and 2014.
