Kim Joo-hyung
Kim Joo-hyung ( ko, 김주형; born 21 June 2002), also known as Tom Kim, is a South Korean professional golfer. He has won twice on the PGA Tour, twice on the Asian Tour, as well as having two victories on the Korean Tour. Early life and amateur career Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea and is the son of a professional golfer, Kim Chang-ik, who played on the Buy.com Tour before becoming a teaching professional. As a result, Kim was based in Australia, the Philippines and later Thailand for a number of years. In 2018 he won the Philippine Amateur Open Championship and the W Express RVF Cup Amateur Championship. Professional career Kim turned professional in May 2018, playing on the Philippine Golf Tour. 2020–21 Japan Golf Tour
The 2020–21 Japan Golf Tour was a series of professional golf tournaments organised by the Japan Golf Tour Organization. The 2020 season was originally scheduled to be played from 16 January to 6 December 2020, and comprised 25 official money events, mostly in Japan. Other than the four majors, which are played outside Japan, there was one event in Singapore and one event in South Korea; the SMBC Singapore Open which is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour, and the Shinhan Donghae Open which is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the Korean Tour. Most of the scheduled tournaments were cancelled during 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic. On 25 December 2020, the tour announced the schedule for 2021 and confirmed that it would be merged with the 2020 schedule to form the 2020–21 season. GS Caltex Maekyung Open
The GS Caltex Maekyung Open, as it is known for sponsorship reasons, is a professional golf tournament that takes place in Seoul, South Korea. It was established in 1982, replacing the Korea Open as the South Korean event on the Asia Golf Circuit. Between 1999 and 2009 (except for 2004) it was a stop on the Asian Tour, and then in 2010 it became part of the OneAsia Tour schedule. China Tour
The China Tour is a China-based men's professional golf tours, professional golf tour run by the China Golf Association. An earlier tour, the Omega China Tour, ran from 2004 to 2009. From 2014 to 2016 the tour was organised with the PGA Tour China. From 2017 the two tours split and ran a separate schedule of events. Tournaments attracted Official World Golf Ranking, world ranking points from 2014 to 2016 but not in 2017. Events regained world ranking status in 2018 China Tour, 2018. The Volvo China Open is a men's golf tournament that has been held annually in China since 1995. The event is organised by the China Golf Association and has been co-sanctioned by the European Tour since 2004. The Indian Open, titled for sponsorship reasons as the Hero Indian Open since 2011, is the national open golf championship of India, organised by the Indian Golf Union. Trevor Simsby (born October 13, 1992) is an American professional golfer. Simsby won the rain-shortened Bandar Malaysia Open on the 2020–21–22 Asian Tour, Asian Tour in a playoff. This was the final event on tour for the calendar year of 2020 as the remaining events were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Bandar Malaysia Open
The Malaysian Open is a men's professional golf tournament currently played on the Asian Tour. Notable past winners include world number one golfers Vijay Singh and Lee Westwood (both players winning the event on two occasions). Other notable winners include 17-year-old Italian Matteo Manassero in 2011 as well as former Open champion Louis Oosthuizen the following year.
