Royal Cup
The Royal's Cup is a golf tournament on the Asian Tour, played in Thailand. It was played for the first time as a "special event" at the end of December 2017 at the Phoenix Gold Golf and Country Club, Pattaya, Thailand. There was a field of 78 and there was no cut. Prize money was US$500,000. The second event was a full Asian Tour event played in July 2018. Prize money was again US$500,000. Kanchanaburi
Kanchanaburi ( th, กาญจนบุรี, ) is a town municipality (''thesaban mueang'') in the west of Thailand and part of Kanchanaburi Province. In 2006 it had a population of 31,327. That number was reduced to 25,651 in 2017. Sihwan Kim (born December 4, 1988) is an American professional golfer. He plays on the European Tour and the Asian Tour, where he has won two titles. He also plays in the LIV Golf League. Amateur career Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea, and moved with his parents to California at a young age. Prom Meesawat (born 21 July 1984) is a Thai professional golfer. He won his age group at the World Junior Golf Championships in 1997 and 2002 and was Asia Pacific Junior Champion several times. He won the Thailand Open Amateur Championship in 2001, 2002 and 2003 and was victorious in a professional tournament as a fifteen-year-old amateur. Chapchai Nirat ( th, ชัพชัย นิราช; born 5 June 1983) is a Thai professional golfer. Chapchai is the son of a Thai national team golfer, and turned professional in 1998 as a fifteen-year-old. He won for the first time as a pro at the 2004 Genting Masters in Malaysia. He joined the Asian Tour in 2005, and had a second-place finish in his rookie season. Jake Ian McLeod (born 13 August 1994) is an Australian professional golfer currently playing on the PGA Tour of Australasia. Kurt Kitayama
Kurt Shun Kitayama (born January 14, 1993) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. On the European Tour, he won the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open in December 2018 and the Oman Open in March 2019. Early life Kitayama was born in Chico, California, some 87 miles north of Sacramento, and graduated from Chico High School in 2011. Shiv Kapur (born 12 February 1982) is an Indian professional golfer. He is recipient of 2002 Arjuna Award. Amateur career Kapur went to Purdue University and played the amateur circuit in the United States. The Asian Tour is the principal men's professional golf tour in Asia except for Japan, which has its own Japan Golf Tour, which is also a full member of the International Federation of PGA Tours.
