The 2020–21 Women's Basketball Super League ( tr, Kadınlar Basketbol Süper Ligi) was the 41st edition of the top-tier level professional women's basketball league in Turkey. The season is the first to be played after the previous season was abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The previous season was cancelled in May 2020. Botaş SK is a sports club based in Ankara. The major branch of the club is the women's basketball, currently performing at the Turkish Women's Basketball Super League. The club also competes in athletics. Botaş is the first Turkish club to play a final game in European women's basketball. The club was the runner up at the Ronchetti Cup in 2001 and won the Turkish Super League and Cup titles twice. Venue of the basketball team is DSİ Etlik Sports Hall. Ahmet Cömert Sport Hall ( tr, Ahmet Cömert Spor Salonu) is a multi-purpose indoor sport venue located in Ataköy neighborhood of Bakırköy district in Istanbul, Turkey. Víctor Antonio Lapeña Tortosa (born 12 March 1975, in Zaragoza) is a Spanish basketball coach who is the head coach of the Canada women's national basketball team. Club career He coached several teams in Spain, both in the second tier league (2003-2008) and the first tier league (2008-2018).
