2020–21 V-League (South Korea)
The 2020–21 V-League season is the 17th season of the V-League, the highest professional volleyball league in South Korea. The season started in October 2020. Seoul Woori Card Wibee were the first placed male team when the season was cancelled last year and Suwon Hyundai E&C Hillstate were the first placed female team. Uijeongbu () is a Administrative divisions of South Korea, city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Overview Uijeongbu is located north of the Korean capital Seoul; it lies inside a Defile (geography), defile, with mountains on two sides, and commands a natural choke point across the main traditional invasion route from the North into Seoul. Hwaseong Sports Town ( ko, 화성종합경기타운) is a group of sports facilities in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi, South Korea. The complex consists of the Hwaseong Stadium and Hwaseong Indoor Arena. Gimcheon (; , trans., 'gold spring city') is a city in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. It is situated on the major land transportation routes between Seoul and Busan, namely the Gyeongbu Expressway and Gyeongbu Line railway. Hwaseong IBK Altos ( ko, 화성 IBK 기업은행 알토스) is a South Korean women's professional volleyball team founded in 2011. In the 2012−13 V-League season, just one year after the team was founded, the club won both the regular season title, having won 25 out of 30 regular season games, and its first championship. The club became the first Korean professional sports team to win a championship title in their second season. Since then, the Altos have won two more championships, in the 2014–15 and 2016–17 seasons. They are based in Hwaseong and are members of the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO). Jangchung Gymnasium
The Jangchung Arena () is an indoor sporting arena located in Jung District, Seoul, South Korea. Volleyball teams GS Caltex Seoul KIXX and Seoul Woori Card WooriWON are the tenants. History At first, the arena was an army gymnasium, built on 23 June 1955. It was later fully reconstructed and opened on 1 February 1963.
