2020–21 USM Alger Season
In the 2020–21 season, USM Alger is competing in the Ligue 1 for the 43rd season, as well as the Algerian Cup. It is their 26th consecutive season in the top flight of Algerian football. The Algiers Derby is the name given to matches between MC Alger and USM Alger, both football clubs from Algiers, Algeria. Prince Vinny Ibara Doniama (born 7 February 1996) is a Congolese professional footballer who plays as a forward for Becamex Binh Duong. The USM Alger Centre d'entraînement et de formation is the training ground and academy base of Algerian football club USM Alger. The club is located in Ain Benian in the western suburbs of Algiers. Construction The centre covers over and includes a natural grass pitch and a synthetic pitch. Its official opening is scheduled for 2022. In July 2011, the club began training center construction. Antar Yahia ( ar, عنتر يحيى; born 21 March 1982) is a retired professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Yahia is a former French youth international having earned caps for both the under-16 and under-18 youth teams for a brief period of time. The Algerian Cup ( ar, كأس الجزائر) also known the Republic Cup ( ar, كأس الجمهورية), is a football competition in Algeria, pitting regional teams against each other. It was established in October 1962, three months after independence, and has been played yearly since then apart from 1990 and 1993. The most successful clubs in this competition are USM Alger, CR Belouizdad, ES Setif and MC Alger with eight trophies for each.
